Blue fluted cones with music

The beautiful cones with blue fluted pattern on notes on manuscript paper are easy and simple to make. They are made from an old manuscript paper bought at the flea market, Royal Copenhagen napkins, glue lacquer, checkered crepe paper and a little snow glitter.

Start by drawing a semicircle with a pair of compasses or following a plate. Cut half the circle in half and cut the circle edge with zigzag scissors.

Cut out the part of the napkin you want to use and pull off the two rear layers (napkins are in three layers). Brush the lacquer glue on the manuscript paper on the surface where you want to place your napkin. Carefully place the napkin, pad it on and brush gently from the middle out with a brush. Let the cone dry.

Glue the cone along one edge and turn the cone into place. Use scissors as ballast so you can press the glue together with the paper (you can’t get your fingers that far into the cone). Let it dry.

Glue 2 pieces of paper together for the handle (they become too thin with only one layer of paper). Glue the handle on the inside of the cone facing each other.

If you like, spray the tip of the cone with spray glue and sprinkle snow glitter on so the tip of the house seems frosty… Enjoy ;0)
