The story of Karen and the blue horse is the story of a girl who loves horses. Karen not only loves horses, she really loves them and especially Odin, who is Karen’s horse.
Actually, Odin is a beautiful reddish horse, but… There is something with symbols in making a cake for a special person. To me, Karen is a blue girl.
Blue is sincere, restrained and quiet, and doesn’t like to make a big deal out of things or attract too much attention. Blue likes to do things his/her own way. The blue color is reliable and responsible. It beams of inner security and trust. You can rely on the color blue to take control and do the right thing in difficult situations. The blue color needs order and planning in its life, including the way it lives and works.
I was entrusted with the amazing task of making a cake for Karen’s confirmation and of course the little horse had to be blue. I was also fortunate to be one of those people who was invited to celebrate her.
